What began in 2004 as a small consultancy under the name Cencus Services has today evolved into Avibha Legal, a full-service legal and tax advisory firm known for its integrity, expertise, and client-first approach. 2004 – 2010

Foundation & Early Growth

Founded as Cencus Services by Mrs. Ratna Bhamere under the guidance of Mr. Vijay Bhamere (Retd. Superintendent – CGST & Excise), with Mr. Bhaskar Bhamere as an integral part.
Focused on consultancy, advisory, and return filing under Service Tax, Central Excise, and Customs — building a loyal client base through hands-on expertise.

2004 – 2010

2011 – 2016

Expansion into Advisory & Litigation

Broadened from compliance work to indirect tax advisory and litigation before Commissioner (Appeals) and CESTAT.
Adv. Akshay Bhamere joined, strengthening legal capabilities and expanding into key sectors like Pharma, Chemicals, and Textiles.

Infrastructure Expansion

Established the firm’s first independent office, enabling structured operations and professional client servicing — paving the way for the GST transition.

Formation of Avibha Legal & GST Transition

With GST implementation, Cencus Services evolved into Avibha Legal.
Expanded to GST registration, compliance, and litigation, ensuring seamless client migration from legacy tax systems.

Launched Corporate Legal and Company Law services, alongside structured Retainership Models for ongoing advisory and litigation.
Enhanced representation before GST Authorities, CESTAT, and High Courts.
